TARGUSinfo Online Lead Quality Summit

Greetings from Las Vegas and the beautiful Mandalay Bay Hotel and Conference Center.  My colleague, Ron Kennedy (www.ronaldkennedy.com), and I just arrived in Vegas as both of us are slated to speak at TARGUSinfo’s Online Lead Quality Summit which starts tomorrow.

I will be speaking on Thursday on the subject of lead scoring.  The topic I have chosen is “Lead Scoring — Go With It…Grow With It.  I will be pointing out that lead scoring is a fundamental of lead management and lead nurturing, especially as it relates to this competitive online education space.  Too often those of us in online lead generation become infatuated with the newest terminology or latest technology and fail to focus on the fundamentals of lead management — one of which is lead scoring.  As it relates to lead scoring, we have to GO WITH IT.

But it doesn’t stop there.  True innovation in lead scoring comes when we execute on its fundamentals and then GROW WITH IT.  Proper lead scoring is not a static all, end all.  It is a viable and proven means to not only determine a prospects interest in your product or service, but your interest in that prospect.
